Dr. Richard Curran is a General and Laparoscopic Surgeon. He graduated from the University of Sydney in 1995
and completed advanced training in general surgery on the NSW Western rotation. He was awarded his fellowship from
the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (FRACS) in 2008.
Dr. Curran is a Consultant General Surgeon at Westmead Hospital and Blacktown and Mt Druitt Hospitals, specialising
in laparoscopic general surgery. He is also a Visiting Medical Officer at Norwest Private Hospital.

Dr. Reece holds dual specialist qualifications – as a Consultant Physician in General Medicine and also as an Intensive Care Physician. He also holds a Diploma in Child Health. Apart from his clinical work, Dr. Reece has been a lead instructor in medical simulation for over a decade and his research interests lie in the prevention of the deterioration of hospitalised patients with acute medical conditions, the management of acute renal dysfunction and networked clinical information systems. He is also experienced in teaching medical students.

Dr. Pran Yoganathan, Gastroenterologist

Dr. Pran Yoganathan is a Gastroenterologist and Gastrointestinal Endoscopist. He graduated in medicine from University of Otago, New Zealand and undertook training in internal medicine at Westmead Public Hospital. His advanced training in gastroenterology was completed at major teaching hospitals in Sydney.
Dr Yoganathan is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of Physician (FRACP) and a member of Gastroenterological Society of Australia (GESA). He has accredited expertise in Upper Gastrointestinal Endoscopy, Colonoscopy and Video Capsule Endoscopy as certified by the Conjoint Committee for the recognition of training in Gastrointestinal Endoscopy.
Dr Yoganathan has developed an interest in 'quality colonoscopy' with a focus on optimizing bowel preparation, withdrawal time and the use of high definition endoscopes to maximize adenoma or polyp detection. He is interested in the early detection of bowel cancers, well before they become symptomatic and thus saving lives. He is a strong advocate for bowel cancer screening. The multidisciplinary approach to gastroenterological problems, particularly in patients with GI malignancy, is routinely practised.
